Shift Together runs free mental-health support groups across the Rhondda — in libraries, plazas, old halls, and online. No diagnosis needed. No gatekeeping. Just a space to turn up.
Our mission
We started Shift Together because getting mental-health support in the valleys often means waiting lists, referral letters, and an assumption that you're already at crisis point. None of that works if you just want to talk on a Thursday morning.
Our groups are free, open, and facilitated by people trained in mental-health first aid, NLP and counselling. We meet where people already are — libraries, community halls, a plaza basement in Porth — and we show up every week. That's the whole idea.
